Weigh in week 2

Survived week two weigh in and didn't do too bad
Lost 0.9kg
Would have loved to lose the full kilo but 900gms is pretty good considering I had my first red flag day
Currently weigh 81.4
I really want to be under 80 soon!
A few more weeks and ill be there :)

Weigh in nerves!

Tomorrow morning is weigh in for week 2
Once again, I have resisted the urge to take a sneak peek on the scales all week
I'm a bit nervous. I have done all I could. I did have a red flag day this week and it is still bugging me. I could have been way over my calorie limit...how would I know!
I'd say that I'd be happy with at least half a kilo...but really I'd be disappointed with anything less than one kilo

My clothes are staing feel ridiculously big now! Threw a pair of jeans into my gym bag last night without trying them on. Put them on at gym before work and they were way too big! I only bought them in December and today I could take them off and put them on without unbuttoning them. Such an awesome feeling!

First red flag day

Today was my first red flag day
I went to my cousins baptism and the reception was a catered, three course event
I had Special K and a banana for breakfast which equated to around 300 calories
Lunch wasn't served until 3pm so I was starving! Entree was lasagne. I didn't know how late the next course would be so I ate that, even though I wasn't too keen on having pasta. Next course was chicken cacciatore with mashed potato. I know I shouldn't have eaten it all, but it was damn good. I did not touch the dessert (even though it looked amazing). I really hate that I didn't know how many calories I was consuming. I don't know how much cheese was in the lasagne or how much the chicken weighed. I hate not being in control!
We got home at around 4:30 and by 7:30 I was hungry again. I had some of mums home made pumpkin soup with a slice of toast and a chobani
I know for sure that I exceeded my 1200 cals, I just don't know how much more calories I consumed.
It's really bugging me that I don't know how many calories I ate. I didn't do any exercise either. I have been perfect every other day! I don't think there's any point in eating less calories tomorrow to even it out, I will just have to workout harder and longer tomorrow.

Shopping NSV!

I am determined not to weigh myself until Wednesdays. I need to break the habit of weighing myself every hour!
Anyways, this morning I pushed myself to do the SSS. I did Mish's "Earn your burn" workout this morning and all I can say is OUCH! It was quick and intense, but it did its job and I burned around 500 cals. I was half way there so I decided to jump on the wii. I have not used the wii in over a year, but I have some great fitness games including the biggest loser challenge game. I'm missing Zumba tomorrow so I decided to throw on the "my fitness coach: Latin dance" game. I really love Zumba and Latin dancing! I did it for about an hour and burned around 350 more calories. Although I didn't reach the 1000 calorie burn, I was pretty proud of myself for giving it a to.
I didn't have breakfast until 11am and then went straight to Highpoint for some retail therapy. I ended up walking around there for 4 hours! I was exhausted and I definitely burned in excess of 1000 calories just by the amount of walking I did!
I ended up buying quite a few clothes...however I wasn't intending to buy much! I just got so excited when I fit into two size 12 items!! I am far from a size 12, but I have quite a small waist so I can now fit in to smaller skirts! I was so happy and so motivated to keep working hard at it. I can't wait until I can fit into a size 10-12 top and pants.
I wasn't able to have lunch at the shops because I forgot to take my toothbrush with me! These bloody invisalign make it almost impossible to eat out!
I ate dinner at 6 but still have 500 calories left over. I know I shouldn't under eat, but I don't think it's beneficial to eat a high caloric great just to make up my 1200 cals.
There's a magnum ice cream sitting I'm the fridge that I have dibs just in case I choose to have it. I will still be under my calori limit, but I may just treat myself this once!

12WBT Round 2 2013

I am back and am taking another stab at the 12WBT
This time, I am more determined than ever.
I leave for Europe in 9 weeks, and I refuse to feel uncomfortable being covered up in the Summer heat.
This time around, I have a little help from my new invisalign braces!
My treatment started on May 2nd 2013, and since then I have lost about 5 kg. Although I can eat anything I want (unlike normal metal braces), its not as easy to eat whenever I want. Every time I want to eat, I need to remove the retainers and then brush and floss every time I put them back in. Therefore, I can't just grab a piece of chocolate or a biscuit without all of the hassle!
I have stuck to three meals a day and after the first week or so, I didn't even feel hungry anymore.

My progress on the 12WBT this round has been great so far. My start weight at preseason was 87kg. I started week 1 (13/5/13) at 84.7kg. After my first week and a half (22/5/13) I lost 2.4kg.

Week three starts on Monday and I can't wait! I am wearing my bodymediafit band 24/7 and I generally aim to have a calorie deficit of over 1300 calories daily. I am sticking to 1200 calories exactly, and am waking up every weekday at 6:30am to get to the gym. I'm even surprising myself at how determined I am. The old me would have laughed if someone even suggested waking up that early to exercise!

I feel like I am finally in the right headspace to finish off the rest of my weight loss. I turn 25 in January and do not want to spend another year worrying about my weight!
